My birth story

A long time coming but ready to write my birth story. On the 7/11/2016 I went to hospital with pain in my lower abdomen only to be told I was only 2cm dilated and to go home after a sweep. On the 8/11 the same again they told me I was in slow labour and that my daughter just didn’t want to come out just yet. So I went home and had a night in with friends with a lovely curry. On the 9/11 at 1 am I had pains again not severe but still uncomfortable so went to sleep after taking 2 paracetamol. I woke up again at 5 am and told my hubby to get up the contractions are getting worse so he went out quick to get money for a taxi to go hospital. While he was gone the pain got worse and I was worried because after 20min he wasn’t home. Then I heard a knock on the door so I had to get up with bad contractions just to find 2 police officers at my door at which point I was panicking and asked if everything was ok and they asked me if I knew this man it turned out my hubby went out the house in panick with just his boxers and a coat and the police brought him back while looking at me they noticed what was going on so they called an ambulance and said good luck my partner was bright red in his face. Paramedics arrived and asked me how I felt I told him give me gas and you be my best mate. He then asked how long I felt like this I told him only about 20 min it was severe and apart from that I was asleep. He checked me and was in shock he said you slept and I said yes why? He said because love you are 9 cm dilated and he rushed me off to hospital I got to hospital at 5:30 and told them I needed to push they checked me and said I was fully dilated time to push my daughters head was out after the first push with all her waters intact which came as a shock so they broke the sack and writhin 2 pushes my baby girl tia Ada-rose was born at 5:35 7lb 2oz and 24 cm long
