Petrified of Birth?! Help me please

Question

I’m due to have a baby in 9 weeks and I’m not going to lie, I am absolutely petrified. 
I’m so so scared that something is going to go wrong and I’m scared of the pain I’m going to be in. 
I don’t even know what to do 😢

I was the same way! But when it came time I was actually in labor and ready to give birth, how scared I was didn’t even cross my mind. I just - went with it lol. And I had a really smooth labor and delivery

Don't be afraid! Every moms experience is different. Mine was easy. I had my epidural at 4cm and never felt any pain. It's exhausting pushing, but once your baby is on your chest you won't care! Trust me. Moms that had a horrible delivery still say it was all worth it. Relax. You will get to look into your babies eyes soon!!😍😍

What will be will be. Reading hippie birth books helped me a lot because they talk about birth like so zen and beautiful. Even if its not it'll make me feel better in the meantime haha

It's something you just gotta do and you can't even anticipate what it's going to be like as every Labour is different so worrying about it won't change anything. Best advice I could give is stay on your feet if you can. I found it much easier to deal with pain on my feet and hated lying down. first time I was young and didn't know better so lay on the bed as they asked but 2nd time I refused to lie down as it hurts more. my 2nd Labour was pretty fast and I loved the feeling as my body took over and pushed all by itself. felt amazing!

Everybody goes through it. I was too excited to be scared with my first. Nervous, yes, but not scared. But when I was pregnant with my second, all I could think was how I couldn't handle it the first time. I had planned to go natural, taken pain meds, and had complications. In reality, when it was time to give birth, the knowledge of what went wrong the first time gave me the strength to do it! Pregnant again, and now I have confidence I can do it again!
You will not be prepared, but you can do it! Just like the billions of mothers who have done it before, the baby will help you find the strength you need. Talk to someone that encourages you, and builds you up, and make sure you have good people around you that believe in you!

I was the same way, but trust me get that epidural and everything is good. The only painful part was when he was crowning (literally a burning sensation), and I had to push so much 3 times for 10 seconds when my contractions were so close. Once the babies head is at I swear to you the pain vanishes, and you have your little baby in your arms!
