Blocked tubes - recommended for IVF

I just received the devastating news that my tubes are both blocked. Doctor said I have no choice but to go for IVF.

I an quite anxious to go down this route... but I know I have no choice. For those who have done IVF before, can you share how scary/ not scary/ amazing the process was for you? And how long does the whole process before I can get pregnant? Someone told me it takes 4-6 months, is it true that I have to wait that long?

Did IVF take a huge emotional toll on you or was it not actually that different (emotionally) from struggling with TTC naturally?

If you have had a failed IVF, what was the reason?

Last but not least are there any tips you might have for someone who is going to go for IVF.. aside from "just relax" 😂 Practical tips.
