What should I do? Anyone on antidepressants/pregnant

Okay so I think I am pregnant. After my MC I started taking antidepressants Wellbutrin xL just to start to feel better and it’s only been like 3 weeks if that. I have a feeling I’m pregnant and if not then I don’t want to be on them if I’m ttc. Let’s say I am prego , how would I stop them. Just taper off or completely stop. I don’t want to shock the baby by stopping asap but I don’t want to harm the baby either. Nice words n advice please

Definitely speak to your doctor about this. Anti depressants are strong as hell so it needs to be discussed. I stopped taking mine when TTC but I tapered down slowly over about 3 weeks and still had the most horrendous withdrawals. I didn't speak to my doctor first because I thought tapering down would be fine, but the withdrawals I experienced left me unable to work, walk or stand for about 2 weeks, and I wasn't pregnant then.

You should talk to a doctor. They had me slowly ease off mine when I was pregnant with my first. They will know what is best

Normally they have you slowly stop taking them, but if it’s only been 3 weeks you’re probably ok to just stop. You should talk to your doctor about it though.

i️ was on paxil when i️ got pregnant and instead of taking me off completely , which the doctor explained to me could cause more trouble to my mindset , they wanted to make sure i️ was okay as well as baby, they changed me to Zoloft which is completely safe to take during pregnancy. i’m 27 weeks and me and baby are doing perfectly fine
