If your boyfriend was hanging out with girl co workers and their room mates at a bar til one am, would you be mad?

My boyfriend called late last night to say he was hanging out with co workers, but failed to mention who and where. He got home at one am, drunk. I asked who he hung out with and found out it was at a bar with all women (early 20's) and their girl room mates. This bothers me because he didn't say it was with women. He also never takes me out, and I'm to young to go to a bar. Would you be hurt? Am I right to feel concerned, hurt,and jealous?

I think I would be hurt, but who/where is a question you should have asked when he called to tell you he was going to do it. Can't really be mad after the fact if you failed to ask these questions.

If you don't trust him then why be with him? Did you ask who he was with when he called? Because sounds like you didn't. Really? All women and just him alone? That sounds like he's gay. Who could put up with all women in a club.. Just one guy? doesn't sound right. Talk to him about it and tell him it obviously bothered you and if he does it again then don't be with him since you don't like his decisions. Also, he obviously can't take you out since you're too young for bars..

I wouldn't be concerned. It was a group of people, not one on one, and it sounds like it isn't frequent. Plus, if you aren't old enough, then he couldn't exactly take you with. And you can't expect him to just not hang out with people if they decide on a bar. He already bypassed that part of his life (not being able to get into bars), & shouldn't have to put his social life on hold. If he did it all the time (group outings always being at age limited venues), then i could see being upset.

I would not be concerned as long as it was a group. I would be mad if he came back drunk. Drinking with coworkers can get messy if you don't know how to control yourself. Drinks are fine drunk is bad.

I wouldn't care. I've gone out with coworkers where there was only one male coworker coming along and I've gone out where I was the only female coworker too lol They were in a group and if he came back at 1 then he wasn't even out til the bars closed lol

Yea he could have handled it a little more tactfully, but men have never been good at using tact. In my opinion, let him know it bugged you a bit that he didn't say who all he was hanging out with. Not that he has to ask your permission, but you like to feel in loop. And maybe invite you along next time.

Just tell him that next time he goes out with all girls, that you want a heads up.

That being said its okay if him being out with all girls is crossing a boundary of yours.
