Could this be a false positive?

My husband and I️ have only been TTC for a few months now (after going off the pill - 13 years). I️ had started to accept that we’d be trying for a long time. Just seems that’s the way it is after BC. When I️ got back in town this tonight, I️ realized I️ was 3 days late. Took a test tonight at 4:45pm (nowhere near first morning urine), and I’m pretty sure it’s a positive BUT my body hasn’t given me any of the “signs” and my bbt chart doesn’t exactly scream BFP either.

Are false positives common?
