progesterone injections?

Question

Was just wondering if anyone used progesterone injections to help prevent early labor and if so did it help? I just started my shots at 16 weeks (today) and I just want to be reassured that they do work kind of nervous because I lost my son at 24 week 3 years ago and I don't want to go through that again.

Thank you this is very reassuring I am very scared since this is my 3rd pregnancy and I really really want this to work. They put me as high risk this time and I just pray all works out, I won't be going into labor due to an emergency c section with my last one so I have to have a c section with this one as well around 37 weeks.

I had the progesterone injections from 18-35 weeks this pregnancy and I’m 38 weeks now! 
I went into preterm labor with my first at 27 weeks.

I took the progesterone pessaries from 20-34 weeks im currently 35+6 weeks so they have definitely worked for me :-) xxx
