Pregnancy announcement photo session before first ultrasound?

So I’m almost 7 weeks. Our ultrasound Isn’t until the 28th of this month. We want to announce to everyone before Christmas with a couple of Christmas pictures, however, our photographer needs to get the pictures before our ultrasound so they will be edited in time! Is this a bad idea? Worried we will have the pictures done and there may be no heartbeat afterwards on the ultrasound...
