15, conscious and crushing

So I’m a 15 year old girl and I’ve got a major crush on a guy in my geometry class. He’s super cute, has the most gorgeous voice I can’t even explain it, he’s funny and his laugh makes me break out into a smile instantly.

I may be reading into this too much but 2-3 weeks ago I followed one of his ig accounts and he accepted it but didn’t follow me back. Last night I followed his other account and I’m still waiting for it to be accepted.

I like him a lot and my bff says I should try to talk to him and start a convo.

I’m not super confident of my appearance/body (short and pretty overweight) but my crush is skinny and athletic. I feel like if I tried to talk to him with a relationship as the goal, nothing would happen because we’re not very similar as far as I know

I’m not super shy I just don’t know what I would say
