If you were induced did you end up needing a c-section in the end?

If you had any complications with being induced leave a comment. I'm doing research on inductions and trying to make an educated decision about whether or not to be induced due to my own medical issues my baby is 100% healthy but I have some medical problems that are causing my doctor to ask me "induced or wait for natural labor."

I was induced and didn't need a csection but he did need to be suctioned out because of the angle. Being induced was very rough. You go from feeling fine to a lot of pain pretty quickly .

I was induced with my eldest (now 18yo so things have changed!) due to premature rupture of membranes at 34 wks. I was in labour and a lot of pain for 58 hours before finally having an emergency c section as he was distressed and labour wasn't progressing. I had a general anaesthetic so I couldn't even see him for a few hours. My other babies have been born by planned c section. Recovery is tough at times but having a beautiful newborn to take care of helps a lot!

I was induced with my first. Massively overdue (more than 42 weeks), it needed to happen. It was horrid, comparing with my natural 2nd. The contractions were the full intensity from the start and carried on four 16 hours. Plus no one reminded me to pee, so my bladder over extended. Fortunately, at the pushing stage, a great midwife came on, realised I needed to stop pushing and have my bladder drained before it ruptured with a baby going past it!
I needed to be induced, but induction increases the risk of complications. In the UK, you can't ask to be induced pre 40 weeks + 12 days unless there it's a medical reason. If I did it again, I would do things differently.

I was induced and was in labor 24 hours. I had horrible back labor and when it came time for pushing they realized my daughters heart rate was dropping with every contraction, she had the cord wrapped around her neck. I had to have an assisted delivery and was a push away from a c section. She also had pooped inside of me which they didn't notice until she was almost out. Scariest experience of my life but I had an amazing doctor that was determined to get her out. She's now a healthy happy two year old. 😊 everyone is different and not everyone has a bad experience. Had I gotten up and moved around while in early labor I probably would have progressed faster but I didn't know any better! I sat in bed the whole time.

I was induced at 39 weeks for what my dr said was borderline pre-eclampsia (which it turned out wasn't true). I was pretty much already in labor though. I ended up in labor for 6 hours total once I was induced and pushed for 15 min. In general it was a super easy labor with no complications.

I was induced with both of my boys and had no big issues. Pushed for 2hrs with my first with a failed epidural and pushed for 8 minutes with the second with an epidural that worked!
