lost my mucus plug?

so last night I had sex for the first time in quite a few months since being pregnant. it wasnt super rough but I was sore for a good 30 minutes after. I'm 30+2 and when I woke up this morning I had some light pink discharge. I kept an eye on it and it went brown and then stopped not long after. (i ruled it out to being from sex last night.) well not to long ago I started getting cramps. theyve been coming and going and staying for a good minute to minute and a half then going away for a few minutes then I went to go to the bath room and when I wiped I had a huge amount of super thick discharge with a little bit of brown in it here and there. was kinda like a super thick blob of jelly. could that have been my mucus plug? and should I make an appt to see my doctor sooner than my next appt in 2 weeks?

sorry for the long post this is my first baby and I'm absolutely clueless! any advice appreciated.
