Was wrongfully put on Metformin according to my new Dr.

Anne

I was put of metformin by my long time doctor for pcos. I definitely have pcos. My doctor moved and I was talking to my new physician about how I never felt right on metformin. She decided to run some tests before trying to change my dosage. She found out that I do not have insulin resistance and my fasting blood sugar is normal - therefore she said I should have never been put on metformin. She told me there are different types of pcos and for mine metformin won’t help. I cut dairy and gluten and refined sugar and dropped 25 lbs quick but have more to lose. Anyone else ever heard of this or in the same boat? I’m trying to figure out what else I can do on top of diet and exercise.
