Low Sex Drive?

I’m 20, soon to be 21. For almost a year now I’ve been dealing with little to no sex drive. I’ve been with my boyfriend for 2.5 years and I feel it’s really affecting our relationship. I’ve been told that the depo shot I was on for a few years may have contributed. Any thoughts, recommendations, etc? Thanks in advance

I actually went through the SAME thing at your age! I heard that many women go through low sex drive in their early twenties. but normally it goes away. I was sexually absent for a year and a half. absolutely no interest in sex. like I was a monk. but as I got older it faded and now I have sex with my husband about three or four times a week. it's pretty normal. luckily I was single during this time but as for you,just explain how you feel. maybe set up a couple days a week to have sex. good luck

This is normal. Are you on any birth control at all?? Try looking for natural remedies to boost your libido. My sex drive was DESTROYED due to being on the pill. The second I stopped taking it, I felt free.

I am currently not on birth control. I had to actually stop the depo shot because of how sick it made me. I was on it for probably 3 years. But I’ll definitely have to look into things that will help raise my libido! Thanks ladies!
