Why does lubricant burn when I use I️t during sex?

So I’ve use lube before during sex and after I come and try to have sex again with lube I️t always burns. Why is this? It’s only after I come that I️t burns. Any recommendations for a lube that wont do this? I️t was a water based lube that i was using.

idk it depends on where it's burning. I get friction burn if I'm going with my partner for a long time and we don't reapply. it's hard to remember in the moment.

Allergic reaction, or possibly a spermicide in the lube... check ingredients

it's possible that you're getting allergic reactions to the lube you're using! Or maybe your partner was going too fast, making friction burn you up a bit idk does that make sense?
