Brown discharge, am I miscarrying?

UPDATE:
I am currently lying in a hospital bed after extreme cramping last night. At home I thought it was really badly trapped wind but as the night drew in I realised it wasn't just gas! We went to hospital and I have been admitted and given wonderful drugs to stop the pain. I'm in over night again as it's feared that I may have an ectopic pregnancy. Some red /brown blood and barely any cramps. There is another foetus in there in the right place but they are worried it's not the right size for its age. Scan and blood again tomorrow.

I am so worried that I'm miscarrying my baby. I have had brown discharge when I wipe and a tiny amount on a pant liner for 3 days now. I am 5+4. I still have sore boobs and heartburn and still 'feel' pregnant but I'm just worried this is the start of the end for me. Is anyone else in the same situation?

The miscarriage I had was bright red blood from the start.  Without that, I believe you are fine.  Unless it picks up flow and turns red I don't think you should worry at all.  Harder said than done but I think that's pretty normal.

I had light brown discharge at 5 weeks+1 & 5 weeks+3 assisted by cramping, then nothing at all. I checked online and it mostly states it’s old blood or your uterus cleaning out old blood/cells etc and there’s nothing to worry about unless it’s fresh pink/red blood. I’ve been totally fine since and are now 6+3 😃

I think it's cramping and red blood that you need to be more aware of. brown blood is old blood but I would call your doc anyway x

I really don't want to scare you, but I also want to inform you.  I've had 2 miscarriages and they both started off with brown spotting.  The first time I had recently had sex so I assumed it was from that, but it wasn't.  The second miscarriage (going thru it right now) started off with brown and we hadn't had sex recently.  They then turned to red then the cramps started.  Like I said, I don't want to alarm you, just because want to inform you.  I wish you nothing but a long happy pregnancy.🙏🏼

I went to the er on Sunday because I had a previous miscarriage that started liked this. They did my hcg then and repeated it today and everything is fine. Brown discharge that is light is usually normal, but if you are worried do get checked out.

I had this dark blood throughout my whole first pregnancy and never thought anything of it. My son was born just fine

I’ve had brown spotting on and off for 6 days now. I’m 6 weeks 4 days today. I’ve been told it’s fairly normal as long as it’s not red with lots of cramping
