I need help!!! implantation bleeding or period?

I am on the pill however my boyfriend and I always have unprotected sex. For the past few month I have gotten my period regularly. This month I have been spotting 2 weeks before my period, it started 2 days after the last time we had sex and has been happening in the mornings (so about 3 days now). I am taking my pill regularly and I don't know if it's my period that got here early or if it's implantation bleeding. When I wipe myself it looks like a really light period and then sometimes it looks kinda brown maroon colored (like the last days of my period) please help. what do you think?
