Just a little background on my TTC story. I️ was taking Seasonal birth control for about 6-7 years, which caused me to have a “regular” period every 3-months. I️ stopped taking the pill in March 2017, and allowed my body to have a period before really trying to conceive. My body did “bleed” however, it was light, and what I️ have came to the conclusion of was just withdrawal bleeding. After that, I️ did not get my period for about 3-months. By this time, (June 2017) I️ decided it was time to go see my doctor. She did some blood work and prescribed me Provera to jump start my period. She also said it could possibly be PCOS. So after the Provera Cycle I️ went to a few more appointments, got an Ultrasound, and everything looked normal. After the ultra sound she prescribed me the Provera again, and also Clomid 50mg on cycle day(s) 5-9. I’m currently on CD8, and day 4 of the Clomid. So far, knock on wood I️ have had no side effects while taking the Clomid....whew. My next step, is to start doing my OPK’s, and doing the baby dance. My fiancé and I️ are really hoping, and praying it works this first time.
