First Drs Apt questions

So my OB is also my gyno that I've been going to for over 10yrs. Just before I found out I was pregnant I had my annual so when I first found out I was pregnant I didn't have to go in they just mailed me my bloodwork script to go confirm. Yesterday was my first apt and I had an ultrasound. We got to see the heartbeat and the baby was measured. He then asked if I had any questions and said see you in a month. I'll be 12 weeks by then. When I scheduled the next they said that's the longer apt with lots of paper. I'm just wondering if anyone else's first apt with their dr that they been going to was so quick?
