To smoke, or not to smoke?

Question

When it comes to smoking (marijuana or cigarettes) everyone has their own opinion. Do you smoke? And if so, how old were you when you started?

I️ smoked weed from probably 14-17 and off and on since then. Not really anymore. I️ smoked cigs from 14-sometimes currently. Now I️ usually vape, for me it’s more of the oral fixation and actually having smoke come out of my mouth rather then the nicotine. My opinion on 
Weed: have absolutely no problem with it at all until people center their whole life around, smoke while pregnant, smoke around children or lip sync rap songs on Snapchat while smiling blunts. I️ know many people who became lazy and anti social smoking and I️ know people who need it in order to get through their day and are still very much productive
Cigs: I️ think they are a terrible habit that is extremely hard to break. I️ quit as soon as I️ found out I️ was pregnant and was fine but about a week after giving birth I️ went right back to it. I️ unfortunately think the habit starts when people are young and fall into peer pressure and it sucks because I️ used to have a substance abuse issue and cigarettes are by far the hardest habit to shake. Also dislike people who smoke while pregnant or around children. (And before anyone comments something smart when I️ have smoked cigarettes since having a child I️ would literally change my shirt and wash my hands or shower before even going near my baby)

I started smoking weed in uni as everyone I hung out with did. I mean pretty much everyone did. It was only now and then and in company, I never bought my own and I can't roll. My boyfriend has smoked since a teen as its in his family, they all do and provide him with cheap but quality weed. Since being with him I smoke a couple times a week while he does everyday I tend to stick to weekends. When he isn't around I don't smoke at all. 
I don't smoke normal cigs. Tried a few times when drunk but absolutely hate them. My boyfriend doesn't either really. He only has one or two while working so they give him breaks. 
So I don't really think of myself as a smoker. But I kinda do. But I'm not fussed. I would happily never smoke again, I only do with my boyfriend and I want him to cut back.

My mum smoked cigarettes, I really really didn’t agree with that. I was also against cannabis when I was in school, I wanted to focus on studies. I was completely ignorant to the plant itself, but I came to a “mature” decision to try it when I was 16, after a good friend of mine had explained his experiences. Long story short it opened many doors for me. And, well, several years later, I have established a career with it 😂

I used to smoke weed from 13 y/o - 16 y/o
it made me antisocial & lazy. since I quit, im in honor programs & very active in school. That was just my personal experience tho. & cigarettes just make me want to throw up

I started smoking weed at 15 or 16. when I started it was just bc I thought it'd  be "cool" but I soon realized how much it helped me. 
I had a lot of bad personal/family issues going on which caused weight loss, anxiety, depression, insomnia/night terrors. I also have a very high metabolism which causes me to lose weight even faster. 
I'm 20 now. Weed definitely helps me eat(I can not eat unless I have a little marijuana in my system)
I no longer have night terrors and my anxiety/depression isn't as bad
You just have to be smart about it and pay attention to how it affects you. For example I can't smoke flower and be productive, flower makes me lazy, tired, dumb and hungry lol but I can be very productive after smoking wax/shatter, it doesn't  block me off mentally if that makes sense.
I started smoking talons about a year ago but I only smoke those at work to take the edge off. a pack lasts me a couple weeks.

I don't smoke anything and never have. It doesn't appeal to me and it is so bad for you. It also stinks and I can't stand being around people who are smoking because you have to breathe in their smoke.
