Does my navel piercing look infected or rejecting ?

I had it done almost 4 days ago, but I accidentally got it caught on stuff

I have polysporin on it that’s why it looks oily. Any tips on what to use ?

Looks infected. One, go to a doctor because a piercer is NOT a doctor and can't diagnose. Two, until you get to the doctor you need to clean with antibacterial soap and scrub it. It'll be a bit uncomfortable but it will hold you out til you can get to the doctor.

It looks infected to me, I️ have both my top and bottom pierced (got them at the same time) and believe me when I️ say they have gotten infected SO MANY TIMES! I️ use a little throw away mouth wash cups (you could use a shot glass) with warm water and sea salt, hold it over your belly button for 5 mins soaking it twice a day and then clean around it with a q-tip. It’ll clear that right up, works for me every time 😊

I would go to the piercer that did t and have them look at it ASAP. Mine rejected (I was allergic to the metal and didn’t know) and it ate it’s way through my skin. I now have a huge scar where my belly button was pierced. Maybe the piercer can help you find something that won’t irritate it and then they can also look for infection.

You just need to keep cleaning it and looking after it, you've only had it 4 days and no piercing is anywhere near being healed that quickly. If it is infected you don't want to take it out anyway as it'll close up with the infection inside your body. It's a surface piercing so you need to be a little extra careful and avoid wearing high waisted trousers or belts.
