Rejection

My husband is having trouble nailing jobs to get back to the east coast. He's been on 3 second round interviews and all have come back to say no. Does anyone have any advice as to how to get that offer after a second round interview? I feel helpless because I'm not there so i don't know what he could be doing wrong, and I don't know how to help him. Any advice?
