Colposcopy

Has anyone ever gotten a colposcopy?!

I got one today due to HPV.

Never was told about the shot to prevent it nor did I know wth it was untill I was told I had it. My pap smear results, from when I was pregnant untill after, showed my levels were dropping but still had to do a colposcopy to make sure they’re not precancerous cells. Now, while my Dr was doing this procedure, I heard her say to her assistant, “I can already see 13 hand me the vile” and so she did a small biopsy. I’m wondering if that’s good or bad. According to her, my results before the colposcopy was extremely low that it’s not even in a “possible” category which means good but can also mean unknown. So after the colposcopy I asked her if it looked bad and she said not at all. Results come in in 2 weeks and I am very nervous. Even though she said it wasn’t high risk, I’m still scared!
