Are evap lines only clear ?

I just wondered because I’ve found many post with people posting “ evap lines” that look like
Clear as day positive test to me. I was told evaps were clear and had no color red nor blue dye should show up in the line but I could have been told wrong

Evaps are clear .. idk why people tell people it’s a evap when it has color and big as day a positive. That bothers me so much.

Evap stands for evaporation line and is any line that appears after the time frame of the test. They can have color as the dye can settle into the antibody strip as the test dries. They can also be clear or greg which is really just the indent/antibody strip being visible. This is why you should NEVER LOOK AT A TEST AFTER THE TIME FRAME. It’s really not worth the stress of racking your brain and eyes over whether or not something is an evap, indent or vfl.
