CM question..

I’m 7.5 months postpartum and breastfeeding, which up until now I thought was the reason why I haven’t had a period yet... Up until the last month my CM has been nothing, but this last month I’ve been getting a lot, it’s sticky, sometimes clear, sometimes cloudy. It’s reminding me of when I was pregnant, so now I don’t know if I should take a pregnancy test. I’m probably just being paranoid because there’s only a very slim chance, but still... I’m wondering what CM is normally like whilst breastfeeding? Is what I’m experiencing abnormal and an indication I should take a pregnancy test? Or maybe my period will finally show..?
