Cold?

I think I’m showing signs of a cold (especially with winter arriving) and I’ve been looking a little online but I wanted some real opinions on safe options for me and baby. This is my first and I’m only 10 weeks.

I went through a nasty cold from week 6 to 7, it was awful! What helped me was Arm&Hammer; simply saline nasal mist for stuffy nose, lots of hot honey-lemon decaf tea and right before bed I drank this : small cup hot water, 1 tablespoon honey, 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar, 1 tablespoon lemon juice and a dash of cayenne pepper. It numbs your throat so you can fall asleep. Hang on there, hope you will get better soon!

During your first trimester options are really limited. You can take Tylenol, cough drops, use a Nettie pot. Most cough syrups are not recommended in the first trimester.
