I just got an IUD put in today. I’m spotting but will I continue to bleed for the next week or so?

irregular bleeding and spotting can continue for 3 to 6 months

I think it continued for a month for me, but it was light. I also had a rather bad insertion experience, but that was because the doctor that did it wasn't typically one who insterted IUDs.

Will I continue to bleed?
