What to do with Toys?

Hey everyone! So with the holidays coming up I've started purging toys in public house but I'm running into the issue of space!! How do you keep toys together? Is it in the living room or in their room? Do you have a toy room?

I think before/around Christmas time we'll be purging some of these toys too bc we have WAY too many and running into a space issue too. one tip is to put some away in a storage box like up in a closet somewhere and rotate every month or so that way they stay new and exciting every time you pull them out.

We keep toys packed away in her closet and rotate them. In her room is a basket of books but no toys to play with. We keep her toys in the living room but it is very minimalist... we have an ikea shelf. On the bottom are baskets which have blocks, dolls/stuffed animals, kitchen items, and books and on the top shelves there’s silk scarfs, discovery basket, doll in a basket, an animal and stacking bowls. We also have a small child sized table that I display as a seasonal nature table and we also have a toy piano. I would read simplicity parenting which is the philosophy we follow for toys if you’re feeling overwhelmed by them.
