Would you take this as a proposal?

I️ was talking to a guy friend about stuff my boyfriend has been saying to me. We’ve been talking about getting married for a while since around March or April. He brought it up and we talked about it a little bit and then moved on he recently has been repeatedly asking me if I️ still want to get married. When I️ asked him why he was doing this he said it was because he loves me. My friend was basically telling me that this was him proposing. I️ thought that was kind of dumb but what do y’all think?
