Has anyone else changed OB's/Midwifes this late

I'm currently 33w4d pregnant with my first baby. My husband and I have been thinking about leaving our OB, which is a scary thing at this point. I found out today that a Midwife that delivers at my hospital will take me on. I believe that I will like her so much better and she is supportive of my birth plan as long as its safe for baby and me. I am so happy to have her. So are there any other mamas out there the switched this late in the game? Are you glad you did?
