boyfriend sucks at foreplay!!

guys I really need your help. we were both virgins when we met. we have been together for almost 2 years and our sex life is awesome, but there just one big problem I have: he honestly is so terrible at foreplay. whenever I'm in the mood he thinks I want to just dive right in without testing the waters first. there's little to no playtime and when he gets in its about 10 minutes and done. I try to tell him but he doesnt seem to want anything to do with it. any advice?? we are both 17 btw
