Gender blues...anyone who was a little disappointed when they found out boy instead of girl or girl instead of boy??

Obviously I will love my baby no matter what gender it is, but I'm desperately hoping for my first to be a boy! I'm about to find out the gender next week, fingers are super crossed 😬

I have 2 boys. I weren't bothered about the sex 1st time around but I prayed for a girl 2nd time around. when she told me it was a boy I started crying!! I had such bad depression and gender disappointment. but then I had to get it into my head that he's a happy healthy baby and I should be grateful. when he came I was so attached to him and he's still my baby now (4 years old). currently pregnant now and I so so so so hope I get a girl this time but whatever it is I'll love it x

I definitely had it with our second but in the end we are incredibly lucky to have two healthy boys. Girl just wasn't in the cards for me.

You will probably have a boy!! They are much easier to conceive apparently!! Where as im hoping for a girl  I'm 7 weeks today! Good luck let us know x

its a real thing! it didnt happen to me but if I would hsve found out we were having a girl I would have been very very upset. now im 34 weeks and want both so bsd I eouldnt even care 😂 I literally have baby fever while being pregnant. 😑 we tried for 14 months so had a lot of time to tslk out plans and what we wanted and we both wanted a boy first. i never had a big brother and I always envied EVERYONR of my girlfriends who did. I wanted my future daughter to have the bond & advantages of having a big brother.

I was adamant I was having a boy and wanted a boy but went to 20 week scan and got told it was a girl ...well i was in shock but I was fine after the scan and glad I had a  healthy baby and was already attached to her,  but I seen my partners reaction and he wanted a boy and he was questioning the lady that was doing the scan making sure she got it right...well this got me upset and made me cry but when he seen me upset he said he was only double checking but obviously deep down I know its cause he wanted a boy but now I'm 34 nearly 35 weeks and he is so in love and we can't wait for her to come! I think this can happen but as time goes on u learn to love and accept the baby and are happy they are healthy :) xxx

Yep! I was devastated when I found out I was having a girl this time, only because my son was so amazing as a bub that I wanted that again. Also because girls clothing is markedly more expensive than boys :(
But I got over it; still shop in the boys section though cause its cheaper :3
