Positive fetal fibronectin test??

So I’m 33w +3 I had a positive test come back and have been given 2 sets of steroids, but monitor is showing I’m contracting! Has anyone ever experienced this and how long after did they end out giving birth. I’ve got alot of pressure in my pelvis but other than that no pains just the odd cramp.

I ha a positive at 26 weeks and I was having contractions but not dilating. I had the steroid shots and I’m almost 30 weeks and haven’t had any further issues!!

I had a positive FFN test and steroid shots two weeks ago and I'm still pregnant. 30 weeks today. My high risk OB thinks I'll make it to 34.

So I’ve had 3 FFN tests now just due to an irritable uterus that likes to start contracting like crazy and all of mine were negative, thankfully. But my dr did say that even if it’s positive, there is still only a 50% chance you will actually give birth in the next two weeks. They will just continue to monitor you and possibly keep you on best rest if you’re not already.

I had this also but around 28 weeks. Went in for steroid shots and stress test. Was contracting so much i had to go in twice per week till i gave birth at 37w5d. I also developed Polyhydramnios shortly after this and had preterm labor at 32 weeks. Was given prescription meds to stop and prevent labor.

Are they giving you anything to stop the contractions? I had contractions at 32 weeks with my first that landed me over night at L&D.; They never did a FFN, so I don’t know what that would’ve showed, but my cervix never changed. I was given two shots of terbutaline to help stop the contractions and they would’ve given me magnesium if there had been changes in the cervix or if the contractions had continued.
