Birth Control After Baby

What are you all doing/taking? I had my 6 week postpartum checkup today and my doctor asked and I honestly hadn’t given it much thought. I was on the pill for 10 years and it took being off of it a full year to get pregnant (could’ve been a fluke I know but still). I’m hesitant to do anything with hormones because of it. We want to get pregnant with #2 probably in a year (or a little less).
