I'm 11.5 weeks today and had ultrasounds that all looked normal at 6.5, 9 and 10.5 weeks. Just got the call from genetic counselor saying my verifi tests came back showing trisomy 18 suspected (borderline). She says this means there is a 20-30% chance the baby has trisomy 18. I know this isn't a diagnosis but I feel heartbroken after losing our last baby at 10.5 weeks due to trisomy 21. It is hard not to feel like I'm doomed. Has anyone gotten this borderline result from verifi before? If so, how did it turn out? Need real stories!!
