How often do you brush your 12 month olds teeth?

For those of you who’s babies have teeth, often do you brush them?

I do once before bed. Not going to lie, there have been a few times I’ve forgotten/she fell asleep before I remembered...but I try each night to brush.

I let her chew on a silicone baby toothbrush which it says is equal to brushing on the packaging... she just chews on it while we put on her pajamas

We do twice only because she loves getting her teeth brushed! She has a routine of waking up, potty, wash up, teeth and same for night time. It just works out well for her. I️ think once a day is perfectly fine

She has 12 teeth so I brush with a regular (kids) toothbrush every night before bed!

I try every night. She puts up a fight because she hates it. When she sees me hold the toothbrush, she shuts her mouth so tight or will stick her tongue out so I can’t get to her teeth. I’ve tried two different kinds of toothpastes for kids, flavored, and she just won’t let me. Sometimes I will trick her and use a wash rag to wipe her teeth but she’s on to that too. Yesterday at her apt, her ped gave me this gel to brush on her teeth and leave overnight to kill all kind of germs and bacteria.

Once a day because I keep forgetting in the morning. He loves eating the toothpaste but I have to jam my finger in the corner of his gums to keep his mouth open enough to actually brush.

Now I chose once a day but I saw that loosely because I’m pretty sure what we do doesn’t qualify as brushing.  My son hates the toothbrush pretty much have to hold him down every night to get like a couple strokes in!

I’d love to know do you rinse out their mouth after?  He likes chewing on the toothbrush but haven’t figured it out quite yet the brushing/ rinsing

We were only brushing our daughters teeth once a day but yesterday at our 1 year check up our pediatrician recommended we brush her teeth twice a day. We use Toms children’s toothpaste and my daughter seems to like it.
