Diva cup?

Question

So i’ve been doing a lot of research and i have to the conclusion that i want to experiment with a diva cup. Ladies, please comment and tell me some more pros or cons about it before it gets here. I ordered it off of  Wish so it won’t be here till December 18, but i just want to know a few tips and cautions. Thanks girls!!!

I love mine! There's no waste, I don't feel it, and I can leave it in longer than a tampon and not have to worry about tss as much! It does have a bit of a learning curve, BUT you can look up some videos on YouTube about correctly putting it in/taking it out and it'll be a lot faster to learn once it's here. I looked up videos for weeks before I ever ordered one lol. I was a bit paranoid about leaking. It'll definitely help to feel like you have some information under your belt. I personally like the C fold more than the punch down, but that's your preference to try out once it's here. Also! If your stem is too long, slowly trim it and keep checking it until it's the right length. You don't want to go too short too fast and then feel like you can't reach it and panic.  Always double check by reaching up with a finger to see if the cup is open and covering your cervix. If it isn't, try pulling down on it a little  and rotating the cup until it does. Placement is key to not leaking. Also, when you take it out, make sure to break the suction by squeezing the cup a little bit, this will help when taking it out to avoid it 'sucking' on your cervix, which might hurt or make you think it's stuck. Don't panic if you feel like it's stuck. Try pushing (bearing down) until you can feel the cup and then squeeze and pull it out. Don't put it in if you aren't bleeding. It's more dry and can be painful and not accurately represent where your cervix will be while on your period. Try a little water based lube if you can't get it in. Good luck! Hope this helped!

I love mine!! It does take some getting used to though. Took me a little while getting used to putting it in and taking it out. I would say you just need to be comfortable with your body because takin it out times requires putting your fingers up there a bit. Once you get the hang out it’s so much easier then pads or tampons!!
