Do you smoke weed?

I know a lot of people my age do it. But it's just, I've always been told that it's a bad thing (no offence to anyone) and that if you do it once, you'll probs end up doing it a second time.

I'll be going on a trip with my boyfriend and his friends soon. And yesterday his friends were talking about getting weed. My boyfriend hasn't done it before either but he said he might be willing to try it once. I'm not sure what. I'm curious too. But I'm scared too. And worried.
