FTM’s: are you going to just be 1 & done?

I’m 20 & currently 34 weeks pregnant with my first. I know I’ll probably change my mind a million times before I make a final decision, but at this point, I’m fairly certain my daughter will be my first & my last child. What about you other first time moms? Are you going to just be 1 & done or will you have more children in the future?

I thought I only wanted one. Then I told myself I wanted another one in 4/5 years. Now I’m thinking I want to wait 2/3 years. And I don’t know if I’ll stop at 2 now 🙈 I’ll probably change my mind a few times too though ☺️

Financially not ready for a second but about a month after I had my son I was switching from a low to higher dose of birth control because I stopped breastfeeding and got pregnant again, my kids will be less than a year apart

I am 25 almost 36 weeks pregnant will not be having anymore, I was never supposed to conceive, my whole pregnancy has been rough i just don't think my body can do it again my husband wants another but Nope!

Oh yeah!  37 having my first.  I cannot do this again!  I was so miserable the first 21 weeks!  He’s going to be so worth it, but he’s going to be an only child! 😂

I would be too scared to only have one. What if that one dies and then I don't have any other children? I know it's morbid to think about.. but I wouldn't be able to live if my only child died!! Also - I have 5 siblings and love them so much and couldn't imagine my life without them! I want to have 3 children ❤️ between the first two I want to wait 4-5 years so I can thoroughly enjoy my first child before adding another.. not sure when we'll plan the third child!

We thought about two. Then we had our daughter and we are not sure. I hated being pregnant (even though my pregnant was easy), but the newborn phase is just so rough. I don’t know if I want to go through that again.
