Boyfriend told me I stink

The other day my boyfriend came home after I got out of a long shift from work. I was gross and hadn’t had time to shower since the night before. We had sex and then he decided to go down on me. He started doing his thing and just stopped. He wouldn’t tell me why until last night. He told me that I smelled and he wasn’t willing to tell me that night. He says he understands that I wasn’t at my best since I hadn’t had time to shower yet. Anyway I’m really upset with myself because I’m always making sure down there is kept up. I know I shouldn’t be mad at myself but i am. I also don’t know why I’m writing this I just needed to tell someone.
