am i the only one??

so im 35weeks pregnant and i really really wanna breast feed my baby how ever just the thought of baby sucking on my nip slightly cringes me like i cant stand it even if my OH touches them so my question is did any body else feel the same and did it change when it came to the real thing and if i dont get along with it does pumping have all the same benafits as actually breast feeding ??

I breastfeed. I hated when my hubby played with my boobs as I didn’t like it at all. Breast feeding is different. I’m not bothered at all ( there were moments of sore nipple and minor struggles at first). Also, I wouldn’t even wear shorts that showed any cleavage and now most modesty is gone... my baby needs to be fed and if someone sees my boobs, it is what it is 🤷🏻‍♀️

I absolutely understand. and it's different when it's a baby I swear. I'm on #2, I don't like my boobs messed with but when I had my daughter it was like a natural iinstinct, weird but comforting. and if it doesn't work out, pumping absolutely works. I'm honestly debating on pumping with this one mostly after I get my supply up so dad can do baby stuff and I can get some stuff done. lol good luck mama!

I was the same way before I gave birth. but something changed when I tried and now I see it completely differently. I'm still trying to get used to my husband playing with them again. I just feel weird now when he touches them, but I know he really loves them so I let him and don't say anything.

It felt very odd to me, I exclusively pumped but I think that I would have breast fed if I had some damn privacy during the first few weeks. 😡 my mother was staying with us and she would constantly stare me down when I would pump, come into rooms without knocking, and so many visitors that would stay so long. How would you like it if someone was determined to make eye contact with your nips all the time jeez. I love them but it doesn't exactly help trying to establish breast feeding.
