100% absolutely. Cant stand people who wanna act like they’re someone important to the child but doesn’t ever ask about them or check on them or ask to see them.

I agree!!! So many people were like “where was my invite to ***** party?” I said where was you the first year of his life? Don’t make time for my kids, you don’t get updates and to enjoy the special times in their life. Why would I bring you around my child if my child has 0 idea who you are and you wanna hop on board when they have a party, holiday, etc? Not happening here. 🤷🏻‍♀️.

I agree to an extent. a majority of our family lives 4+ hours away so we still keep people updated on major things. they are good at sending stuff and will show up of you invite them to events early enough. it's way more then a day trip to visit so I can't really hold that against them.

100%. this is exactly why I won't be allowing my mother in law access to my 3rd child. (not like she will bother anyway because she hasn't with my other 2 AT ALL) . their losses!
