TTC..should I cancel my dentist appointment?

This is my first month TTC and I realized I have a dental appointment on 11/29. AF isn’t due til the following week so I likely won’t know for sure if I’m pregnant or not by then.
My concern is they are going to want to do normal dental X-rays. Can this harm a fetus that is just implanted?

So long as they shield you appropriately (that lovely lead vest), it's fine.

As long as you have the vest on, there’s less radiation involved with X-rays than an ultrasound - it’s completely safe! You could always decline as mentioned above too, I definitely wouldn’t skip it though, you’re actually supposed to get twice as many cleanings when you’re pregnant!

I went to the dentist at 12 weeks and they just didn’t do X-rays. It’s just a precaution. If you felt like you had something wrong with your teeth then they would do X-rays but double vest you but if you aren’t worried, then either do the X-rays or skip them all together and just do the cleaning and examination by the dentist :)

You can decline x-rays. I did when I was TTC just to be safe.

I was pregnant and went for a cleaning. I was due for X-rays but they skipped them because of the pregnancy. 
Dental hygiene is very important to a developing fetus, so if I were you, I would definitely go to the appointment, and just let her know you might be pregnant.

I’m pretty sure they ask you if you are or might be pregnant before doing the x-rays
