Is it weird to have a wedding book when you’re not engaged?

My sister is getting married to her high school boyfriend soon -they have been together for close to 10yrs. Last weekend when we finally sat down to make some plans she pulled out a Barns&Nobel; wedding book planning thing. So I ask if that was new and she said she had it since her sophomore year of college which was WAY before he proposed and only around their 4year anniversary. Weird? Progressive? Romantic? — thoughts.

My sister had a binder with cut outs from magazines planning her wedding since high school... not my cup of tea (I have a common law partner) but I don’t think it’s weird.... maybe just a little... cray cray? Haha

Some girls start dreaming of their wedding at young ages such as 4 or 5. I don't think it's weird at all. Its exactly like a Pinterest board. It's something she's obviously super excited about. Let her be excited 😊

I think it’s weird. But I also think it’s weird to dream of your wedding as if it’s an accomplishment. It’s a wedding. It’s one day. Literally it’s over so quickly and life just goes on. I got married in July and it was a awesome day but I didn’t pretend it was anything spectacular. People get married all the time.
