Okay, I've been debating posting this for a while. But you know, here we are. 
Do you think artists who draw/paint child porn are as bad as those who view video/photo child porn? Or as it's fictional, do they get a free pass? 
Extra questions-
- Do you classify the people who create/get off on fictional CP paedophiles? 
- Do you think the publication of fictional CP creates a dangerous environment if minors begin to view it as normal? 
(the inspiration for this is the nasty ass people of Tumblr and the fact that I got halfway into a book before realising the MC was a fucking 12 year old)

No, I don’t think it’s as bad, since no real children were harmed in its creation. That doesn’t mean that it’s not bad, just lower in the scale of evil. 
Yes, I think they’re pedophiles. 
Yes, I think it’s dangerous, both to minors and in perpetuating abuse.

I would think it wasn't "as bad" since no children were directly harmed, BUT I do think it perpetuates and feeds into pedophilia so it is still very harmful. I would definitely still call them pedophiles... no one who wasn't would even draw child pornography.

I think both are disgusting and take a disturbed mind to participate in, but the video involves a real living/breathing child who will be damaged by the experience so I do think video is worse and they are not equal based on the harm they do. I have no idea what the laws are but I am assuming that the drawing would be seen as free speech in court, so it might disgust people but that doesn’t make it a crime in the same way.

:/ being in the art community it is unfortunately common. 
There have been accounts that draw their OC’s (own characters/original characters) that are underage, nude. Which nudity itself is fine, and then there are other’s who draw their young OC’s doing sexual things. 
It’s harder to pin Child pornography on artists because if it’s a character of their creation they can easily create another age for said OC. Like “oh she’s not really thirteen but she’s a vampire so she’s like centuries old but yeah she looks thirteen”.
When they’re drawing CP of real people, real children, it is easier to go “that’s fucked” and call them out on it.

It's not as bad but I wouldn't be surprised if it actually lead to them physically hurting a child. Yes they are pedophiles, yes this is unhealthy and dangerous. 
All of the people who ship Rick and Morty can stay 500 miles away from me and any child.

Yes, I consider them paedophiles. And yes, I think drawn CP is dangerous to the normalisation of CP, and as a very real step towards real CP.
