2 babies at 16???!? HELP

Hey everyone on glow, This one is for the women who like to shame teen pregnancy! Yes as a mother I understand how you would not like your child being a teen mom but before I became a teen mom I was at an all time low. Not attending school, no transportation, losing weight, depressed..etc but when I found out I was pregnant my life started to change I really re-evaluated everything. I started attending school and I graduated before my baby was born..I bought a car...and recently (my baby is 2 months) became a homeowner. I plan to attend university next fall. Getting knocked up was one of the BEST things that ever happened to me!! Now chill I didn't say it was for everyone but you older ladies who shame teen pregnancy please don't we really be out here trying to provide to. I'm just trying to be an advocate for teen moms because we put up with a lot of shit you older ladies don't have to. I'm currently 16 my boyfriend is 18. Our beautiful baby is 2 months old and I do everything you older moms do so please give us some credit to we shouldn't get cut short 😅💚

Wow you should be so proud of yourself! 
I personally am not a teen mum; I had my first at 27 and now 29 pregnant with #2.  But I was the same in the way that before I was pregnant I literally had ZERO drive. I worked full time but I was just all over the place. I really did not have my life together. I got pregnant to someone I was no longer in a relationship with and everyone though I was dumb to keep the baby. Well the dad and I got back together, bought a house, I studied and now have a reallly good paying job and my life is 1000times better. So I agree with you that not everyone has to already have their life together to have a baby. For some reason some women are so type A personality they can’t deal with anyone else doing life differently than them. And to be honest, the ones who judge like you’re talking about are usually the ones who struggle the most with parenthood.

i got pregnant at 15. i wasnt being stupid i used a condom. after the birth i got on depo. i shockingly got pregnant! my second was born 2 weeks after my 18th birthday. was it how i planned?heck no! but it worked out. im now almost 40, pregnant, i have a degree in lab science, and i have a stable life. women for centuries had babies as teen. granted the life span of a person was much shorter and times were different. none the less it was typical then. i say if like me you prevented it and still had a child then thrive. its what you do  with your life. sounds like youre a responsible mother. you made a choice that was right for you. its the moms that keep thier babies and live on the system for the rest of thier lives that give moms like us a bad wrap. good for you for stepping up and making a life! you are giving YOUR child an inspiring story. one they can tell people later. my children know how hard i worked for them. thats something to be proud of. there are women in thier 30s and 40s who still cant be half the mother you have been at 16. remember that no one has to live with your choices but you and in the end there is only one judge. no one elses opinion matters. are you going to know then 5 years from now? be happy and live your life because THATS what its really all about. keep it up and never be ashamed of your story! be proud of who you are and where youve come from. i dont even know you and im proud of you. you should really consider becoming an motivational speaker at high schools. maybe a therapist or coach for teen moms??
