Any moms trying to figure out when is the right time to try

I am too the point now I’m so confused on the ovulation and the period I just let him have his way with me because I can’t time it right I wanna be pregnant bad as ever tho he wants to go to the military and if we get married I want to have his baby ....he wants to take me with him so I have to have something to keep me busy besides my 6 year old lol I wanna make him happy and I’m sure a new baby will keep us motivated and focus on what we suppose to be doing any suggestions on when like I know they said the week after your period I’m just so lost lol
