Mom issues on Mother's Day

I called my mom to wish her a happy Mother's Day and she was so happy, I could hear it in her voice but the second I told her I changed my major, she was silent and was not supportive at all. Basically said I wouldn't get a job and that it was stupid of me. Those weren't her exact words but I know my mom well enough at this point in my life. It sucks to love someone so much and be so mad at them for not loving you the way you need them to if that makes any sense. I just don't know how to have a relationship with her anymore. She puts me down and makes me cry every time I talk to her yet she helps me and my husband with very crucial things. It's hard to be mad because she is so helpful but then again she is so mean. Ugh :( I have talked to her so many times about it and she never changes
