Bae talk

He became enemy with his childhood friend because of me. His friend got a girl 4 months ago and started bullshitting about our relationship (ldr), calling me whore and saying that i fuck around while away (I don't). That pissed my bf as hell and he got into fight with him. The friend said some more awful stuff but bf refuses to tell me what. Bf swore on fight with the dude and putting him in hospital for that. What should i do? I tried talking bf out of it but it didn't work, he just said "The bullshit goes on since he got with the bitch,i can't stand it anymore"
