Idk what to do

I get really emotional on my period, and my boyfriend is giving me a random present, but I already know what it is. It's a notebook he filled with things and quotes for me. Well, I just started my period, today (11/24) and I've been extremely emotional. He's giving it to me on Monday. I don't want to cry in front of him, but I think I will, only because of Aunt Flo, and maybe because it's probably gonna be really sweet 😂❤️ I'm ready to get the present, but I want to wait to read it..... but he wants me to read it in front of him. Idk what to do...
