Tattoo or Pregnancy

Am about to turn 18 and I want a tattoo the week I turn 18 but I want to get pregnant soon also. My mom has told me that getting a tattoo can effect a pregnancy, but I don’t know if that’s true. Please I need guidance on this topic.
